The Creation of the Ballpark of Bowie

When I learned that a ballpark would be built in Bowie, Maryland in 1993, I decided to chronicle its creation. That winter was one of the hardest in many years and weeks would go by with no progress, as the ground had frozen. The ballpark's completion was final months late, with the team playing home games in such diverse locations as Memorial Stadium (the Orioles had recently moved to Camden Yards) and the ballpark at the Naval Academy.
